MCA-21 project was launched by Minsitry of Company affairs, New Delhi as a part of E-Governance initiative and from 16 Sept 2006 all the filing with registrar of Companies can be done online.
But believe me, even the Government websites work same as Government department. Today tried submitting DIN (Director Identification Number) application. After flling up the form online and pressing the submit button, it took me to the “Cannot Find Server Page” atleast 5 time and every tme form was required to be filled afresh ๐
And I had to fill up three forms… so it took me an hour ๐ฏ
Talking of E-commerce, even Supreme Court of India went online from 02 October 2006, which enables or maybe not ๐ to file petitions online. But I tried registering on the site on 03 October, the site just generated errors ๐
Will try again… maybe site is fixed by now !
One more example… if you want to apply for IEC (Import Export Code) it is done through DGFT (Director General of Foreign trade), the site http://dgft.gov.in, also claims of online filing and e-payment. But just try visiting the IEC online form, it shows errors and errors in between the form fields… you cant even feel like wastin time in filing it online !
